Join me as I give you an introduction of what a holiday looks like in Alcudia, Mallorca (Mallorca) in Spain. In this video, I’ll show you around the incredible Alcudia beach (Alcudia Playa) and then head down to Alcudia Port to give you an idea of what you can expect from a holiday in the resort. I’ll also show you what to do in Alcuida as well as what the beach area offers if you chose to stay in one of the many hotels in the area. There are so many activities on offer and things to do on Alcudia beach from pedalos, parasailing, sailing, windsurfing to paddle boarding. The beach also has various pick up points for excursions along the coast. Plus the beach has the added advantage of having so many bars and restaurants in the sand, with amazing sea views that you’ll think you’re in holiday paradise. I also include information about getting around Alcudia. Check the link below for the TIB bus timetable. I’ll then walk down to the bustling hub of Alcuida Port to check out the restaurants, the shops and the port itself. In this video, a guide to Alcudia Port at night Mallorca (Majorca), Spain, I'll show you around the main areas to find the best bars and restaurants. I'll also give you an idea of how much meals cost and how much you can expect to pay for a pint of beer, a glass of wine and how much cocktails cost along the seafront. I walk along Port d'Alcudia (Puerto Alcudia) waterfront, through Alcudia night market and over to the lookout to enjoy some great views across the port. Alcúdia is located on the The North Coast of Mallorca - imposing cliffs and heavenly beaches and was found in pre-Christian times around the year 70 BC by the Romans. The historic centre is surrounded by a massive city wall and welcomes you with its medieval ambience. The city wall is partially accessible and on a stroll over the old fortification you can enjoy a fantastic view over the old town. Narrow streets wind through the city centre of Alcudia, which also features the impressive Casa Consistorial town hall on Plaça Espanya, which was built in the Renaissance style. The lovingly restored façades of the houses reveal both the Moorish and Roman influences left behind in this northern town. In the Mallorca News, I'll give you a mosquito update from Alcudia. I had reports that some visitors to the island were getting bitten and it seems the mosquitos are starting early this year. So I had a chat with the Environmental Councillor from Alcudia Council to find out when the mosquito treatment to combat mosquitos is starting for 2023. Port d'Alcúdia is a popular resort town and holiday destination on the northeast coast of Mallorca. From about mid-April through the end of the September, Port d'Alcúdia is bustling with people who have come to have fun and enjoy all that this port and its surroundings has to offer. In and around the port, including all along the beach, are rows of vacation oriented apartment buildings and small hotels that cater to families, as well as young and old wanting a beach holiday. For Mallorca, it is a relatively large port with a marina that can receive big ferry boats and thus serve as a point of arrival and departure for boat rides to nearby Menorca and as far as to Barcelona. The beach is the main point of interest here, as well as the many beach activities and water sports from paddle boats to SUP to paragliding. Located about 5-10 minutes drive from Alcúdia, an attractive village full of history with an ancient past that includes Roman, Phoenician and Arab cultures with a nicely restored ancient town centre, this north-eastern part of the island mixes stunning, arid landscapes with fun outdoor activities like golf, waterparks and of course, beach, beach, beach. The main attraction here is the large, expansive beach that is nearly 3 kilometres long, starting from the centre of the port and going down to Playa de Muro and filled with water sports, boating, and related outdoor activities. The water here is calm and clear, and you need to walk out quite far before it gets deep. Nearby attractions include Hidropark, a large water park that also features mini golf, trampolines, and restaurants. What's great about Port d'Alcúdia as a holiday destination is that there is something for everyone. If someone in your group doesn't fancy the beach and wants to be active, nearby Golf Alcanada is a fantastic and welcoming 18-hole course with well maintained greens, and a nice clubhouse. For art lovers, the Yannick and Ben Jakober Foundation is home to unique sculpture and a selection of work from their extensive private collection. Or venture a bit further to Playa de Muro, a very popular and beautiful beach with all the amenities you need.

Zum Strandprofil: 🤍 Der kilometerlange Strand Alcudia besticht mit herrlich weißem Sand und ist zwischen 30 und 120 Meter breit. Hier beginnt bzw. endet eine 16 Kilometer lange Strandkette. Urlauber, die sich nicht im blauen Wasser oder auf einer Liegen unter den Sonnenschirmen am Strand entspannen wollen, finden genügend Abwechslung: Restaurants und Bars laden zu einer Erfrischung ein, es gibt die Möglichkeit, Volleyball zu spielen oder eine der unzähligen Wassersportangebote zu nutzen. Alcudia wird auch die Stadt der Seen genannt - im Landesinneren, nur einige hundert Meter von der Küste entfernt, liegen mehrere wunderschöne Seen.
On a toasty Sunday in July, 2020, we hit up the gorgeous and extremely popular Alcudia Beach in Mallorca. We come here all the time and it never disappoints for a lazy day by the sea with cooling onshore breezes... bliss! Alcudia Beach, in the north east of Mallorca, is a belter of a long, pale sandy beach, popular with families and groups of friends due to the ample space, powdery sand, and stupidly lovely, shallow water. Playa de Muro is relatively new holiday destination in the Alcudia Bay, which is located between the two classic destinations of Port d’Alcudia og Ca’n Picafort. Playa de Muro is home to an incredibly beautiful beach that is officially divided into two so-called sectors. Sector 1 is more central and offers a full 3-kilometre stretch of beach. The beach is home to white sand and clear water. The water is shallow but not quite as shallow as Port d’Alcudia. On top of that, the risk of waves is a little higher on the beach in Playa de Muro. All the necessary amenities, such as sun loungers, parasols, showers, and toilets, are there for visitors to use. Some sections of the beach are also equipped with lifeguards to keep an eye on all guests. A long jetty stretches out into the water, and different tour boats depart from here. The end of the jetty can also be used for jumping into the sea.op of that, the risk of waves is a little higher on the beach in Playa de Muro.
