Groom Hair is here for Unreal Engine 4.25. *Disclaimer: Groom Hair is new in Unreal and still has some bugs. I will point these out, and hopefully Unreal will soon fix these. I would advise not using it in games yet until some of the things are ironed out (but that's just me). Groom hair is very fun to play with! It's so nice to have hair that reacts and looks like real hair. All for less than the price of a steak, or a really, really, really big cup of gourmet coffee! A car mount for your phone, or an egg cooker or a cherry pitter! Wait, those things are pretty neat! Well, I would buy the hair anyways! Several hair groom styles and colors are included. The colors are also configurable, as well as the shine. The length of the hair is also adjustable as well as the width. There are also two low-poly models and a level included so you can play with it. There are some settings you will need to configure when putting groom hair in your own levels, and I will go through all those in a tutorial. Physics are from UE4 Niagara Groom System. Realtime frame rate is about 34-40 fps with one RTX 2080ti. Animations done with IClone.

Use Mannequin and Bind Groom To Skeleton Mesh - 100.000 Hair Strands 🤍 import with x (-90) y (0) z (180) Works best with UE4.25/4 or: Uassets : put it in your Project/Content/Groom Folder ( If you don't have a Groom Folder , create one ) 🤍 Use UE4.25/4 , UE4.24 will not work. Zero out Mannequin and hair ( Location 0/0/0 ). Attach the hair to the mannequin and choose "none". In hair settings tick "Bind Groom to Skeleton Mesh" and set the hair width to 0,05. Double click the hair in content browser and enable simulation under Hair Physics
